
On Campus Interviewing is a process used by employers to recruit Texas State University students and alumni. Employers post their interview schedules in Jobs4Cats, which includes a job description, minimum requirements, timeline and application instructions.
To view the available interview schedules, log into Jobs4Cats* and click On Campus Interviewing. You can narrow your search by searching by your Major, etc. It is important that your Jobs4Cats profile is up-to-date, including but not limited to, your GPA, Major, Graduation Date, email address, etc.

Open: If you meet the minimum qualifications, you can directly sign-up for an interview.
Preselect: If you meet the minimum qualifications, you submit your resume and wait for the employer to make their selections from all the students that have applied. Keep in mind, the timeline posted in the schedule will give you a date when selections will be made.
Preselect Continuous: If you meet the minimum qualifications, you submit your resume and can be notified at any time regarding if you were selected for an interview or not.
You will need to follow the application instructions specified within the job posting. You will apply through Jobs4Cats IF you meet the minimum qualifications, submitting the documents* the employer has requested and keep in mind the timeline associate with the schedule. The deadline to apply will be posted, along with when the employer will make their selections on who they want to interview. You will be notified via email if you were selected or not selected for an interview.( It is important to ensure your Jobs4Cats profile has your updated email address or you will not receive this notification.) If selected, you will be prompted to log back into Jobs4Cats to pick an interview timeslot. The timeslots are first come, first serve basis. Again, be sure to double check the application instructions within the job posting; some companies require that you create a profile on their website.

On-Campus Interviews (Jobs4Cats)
Students may schedule, reschedule, or decline interview appointments up to TWO days (48 hrs) prior to their interview by logging into Jobs4Cats or by calling Career Services and speaking to the Recruiting Coordinator, Mr. Casey Menn.
Cancellations or changes "within 48 hrs" of the interview MUST be made by calling Casey Menn in Career Services at 512.245.2645. The reason for your cancellation will be documented and you will be required to send an apology letter to the employer. If you miss a second interview due to late cancellation notice or you “no-show”, your Career Services privileges (including Jobs4Cats) will be suspended until you have met with Norma Gaier, Associate Director of Career Services.
