The Construction Program on the campus of Texas State University has been in existence since 1984. During this time the program has grown to over 200 students and seven faculty. The curriculum has an overall Design/Build theme, offering contemporary classes in "Sustainable Development" (Green Building) for example, along with more traditional courses in estimating, scheduling and contract administration. Also we are seeking American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) accreditation. Since employment for our graduates is near 100%, we wanted to offer selected employers the opportunity to establish professional relationships with our students early in their college careers, through summer jobs and internships that could lead to full-time employment with your company after they graduate.
