Hiring Procedures for Texas State Departments
Step 1
Post your job on Jobs4Cats for free. Jobs4Cats offers many features that allow you to receive class schedules, resumes, cover letters and references on student applicants electronically if you would like.
Because department needs vary, if you wish to have an application submitted, please choose from any on this page and ask the applicants to submit to you in person.

Step 2
Complete the hire paperwork necessary and submit it to the appropriate office.

Graduate students working in graduate positions in the academic area => Send paperwork to Faculty Records.
Other graduate students and undergraduate students => Send paperwork to Human Resources
Provide an orientation and train your student employees.Do not forget that all new employees must attend a mandatory Student Worker Safety Program. Visit the Environmental Health, Safety & Risk Management website for details.
