The following remarks were made in his nomination:

Kyle has been a "go-to" person for me for a couple of years now because I can rely on him.  I appreciate how Kyle takes personal initiative when it is needed-he doesn't have to be told every little thing that needs to be done, but rather he is observant and steps up to lead or help on his own.  He takes ownership in this program and is personally invested in the outcomes.  Many of my other student workers have commented on numerous occasions about the positive influence he is on them and how his attitude has a meaningful impact on the groups with whom he works.  He often sets the tone, even when it comes to less desirable tasks, but stepping up without hesitation to address the needs of the moment.

Her nominator had the following to say about her:

She started her work with us in June 2006 when our School was relocating its offices.  She not only pitched in to help, but quickly became the major backbone of this move, taking on a lot of organization and implementation of this task.  Not only did she do this for our school, but when another department in our building needed assistance with their move, she volunteered, and not surprisingly, the department chair was also impressed with her diligent work!  She has demonstrated exemplary service by making sure that the office stayed covered at all times even it it meant her being the one doing the coverage.   Another example of her taking the initiative is a project that she undertook for a group of faculty...she pulled together an elaborate poster presentation...that garnered a lot of attention for the faculty.  She has provided administrative support [ when our regular administrative assistant job
