2009 Student Employee of the Year & Nominees

Texas State Student Employee of the Year

The Texas State Student Employee of the Year is Marcos Martinez. Marcos recieved a plaque and his picture will be prominently displayed on the 4th floor of the LBJ Student Center.

Marcos Martinez  |  School of Music  |  Employed 3 years & 6 Months

In the 3.5 years Marcos Martinez has been an employee, he has been consistently reliable and wholly dedicated to his job. Marcos has proven that he is a self-starter whose work can be relied upon for accuracy and care, and I’m greatly appreciative of this rare quality. Marcos has always cared about team spirit among the staff as well. He took it upon himself to create and plan several staff social events (such as pizza-and-movie nights) in 2007 and 2008. Marcos has also excelled in the day-to-day details that are essential in keeping an office running smoothly.
